Lexi X-01, filename LexiXP.exe, was a desktop assistant application released for Windows 2000 computers on the 3rd of April, 2001 and later updated for Windows XP machines on the 1st of November that same year. The app itself is similar to the likes of BonziBuddy, though without any spyware, and attempting to be more useful. The character itself looks hideous, even for the time it released, appearing to be a dog I think? It has hair similar to a lot of Lexies', but it is flattened to the head to the point it just looks... wrong. Compared to the two other software Lexies, this one is completely non-sentient, only answering with programmed responces and web results.
The app was made by the same company who, in a seperate timeline, created the game where G-01 was from, as well as L-01. This application, unlike G-01's game, fully released and seen moderate success, though being forgotten about by 2003, only gaining a little of traction from being seen in a few online videos talking about older computers.
Notes
- X-01 has a contantly pixellated look, even after being extracted from the digitalscape.
- It seems to favor going to wikipedia for its information. That isn't even coded into its program, it just does that.
- Its animations are very buggy looking, and only got worse after becoming non-digital, due to it having control over its animations now.
